TexCast puts it in one place: river flows, lake levels, tides, weather, trout stockings and ramp info for waters across Texas, with an honest read on whether a trip is worth it today.
Built for Texas Water
TexCast was founded by a lifelong Texas Hill Country angler with a simple goal: build the tool every local fisherman wishes they had before loading up the gear.
Rooted in the Guadalupe watershed, TexCast was born from years on the water—wading cold tailwaters for winter trout, exploring limestone rivers for bass, and watching river flows obsessively. Instead of jumping between disconnected state charts, gauge reports, and stocking schedules, TexCast brings everything together into one fast, clean forecast.
Built for the community, refined by experience, and always focused on making your next cast count. It's a one-person project, built evenings and weekends.

Why a Guadalupe bass?
The Guadalupe bass is native to the spring-fed rivers of the Texas Hill Country and lives nowhere else on Earth. Hybridization with introduced smallmouth bass has been a long-running conservation concern, and since the 1990s TPWD has run the Guadalupe Bass Restoration Initiative to protect the species' genetic identity across its native range.
