Comanche Trails Park (Odessa) trout stocking

Odessa, Texas · Pond (from TPWD's site name)

TPWD has not posted a new winter schedule yet. The latest one we have is for 2025-26 (Nov 25, 2025 to Mar 8, 2026); its dates are shown for reference only, and these pages update when TPWD posts the next one. In the years we have records for (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025), TPWD posted it between Nov 16 and Nov 20. That points to about Nov 16 to Nov 19 this year; it is our estimate from past years, not a TPWD date.

TPWD lists 4 stocking dates for this site in the 2025-26 schedule: Dec 4, 2025, Jan 13, 2026, Feb 4, 2026, Feb 25, 2026. That season is over; the dates are shown for reference.

TPWD's list shows about 4,400 trout planned for this site for the season.

TPWD's statewide limits for rainbow and brown trout: Daily Bag: 5 in any combination; Minimum Length: None. Fishing needs a Texas license with a freshwater endorsement unless an exception applies: TPWD's schedule page says anglers under 17 need none, and none is needed inside a Texas state park. Special rules apply on parts of the Guadalupe River. This is a summary of TPWD's page, not legal advice.
